SCIENCE:

The Glenbow Museum Rock Artifact Kit:
We were so fortunate to rent this kit from the Glenbow Museum where students got to touch and evaluate rocks and minerals. Some kits included Gems, Gold, Geodes, Meteorites, Ammonite Fossils.






         





ROCK TESTING

Ms. Gierl lead the testing of LUSTER. Students worked with flashlights to examine and discuss the luster of their three rocks. We learned that shifting perspective, angles, and lighting can affect a minerals luster!
