A big shout out to your children who worked so hard to complete their math and language arts SLAs this week! They were long and they persevered. We are extremely proud of each and everyone of them.

Social Studies - Mapping!

Grade 3s worked with a variety of different maps over the week. After exploring a map of Canada and gathering information about Canadian customs, culture and diversity, they expanded and began looking at World Maps. Through the exploration of world maps, students began to identify

continents, countries, cities, and important bodies of water.

We are excited to continue looking at global communities. Ask your child to list the continents and share what else they learned this week!

Literacy - Writing Prompts
Students participated in an open writing prompt in order to practice their story writing skills! With a variety of photos, students used their creative thinking and organizational skills to write a story.
